Laura graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts with a BA in Costume Design, she has also studied Cinema and Television make-up in London.Laura started her career as a freelance make-up artist in 1998 working primarily with private clients and on editorial photoshoots. For the next 6 years she honed her skills and as her reputation grew, started to break in to the world of fashion. 2004 saw Laura do her first TV project „Archangel“ working with the future James Bond – Dainel Craig. For two years she managed to combine her increasing fashion work with foreign cinema and television projects including the TV mini-series "Elizabeth I" with Helen Mirren and Jeremy Irons. One of her most outstanding works is the creation of 80 different characters for the "Make-up Opera" by the Koršunovo Theatre. In recent years Laura has concentrated on her real passion – Fashion. Her works can regularly be seen in L'Official, Laima, Ieva, Laima Stilius, Express Mada, Nuo Iki etc. Since 2004 she worked with numerous Designers on the annual "Mados Infekcija" fashion weekend. Laura has recently been passing on her knowledge and skills as a tutor at the "Make Up Store" school in Vilnius. She is also busy in advertising, working on both commercials and photo shoots for international clients (Snickers, Nescafe, Jack Jones, Canon, Actimel, Libresse and McDonalds) and the major Lithuanian brands such as City, Kalnapilis, Švturys, SEB, TEO, Bitė, Omnitel and Ežys. |
